I would like to invite those people who love to critique live performances, to step up on a stage and understand what it means to sing live. They should learn that singing live could be effected by a million factors at any given moment before and during the performance and when an artist gives all they got then that should be enough. They were there in the first place because of the talent they have and if few people didn’t like it they should have sung it instead. I am talking about the American Anthem sang last year by the super talented Cristina Aguillera and this year by the unique Steven Tyler. Every artist brings their personality attached to the song. Instead of focusing on the attack of the media, here is her explanation which makes more sense then all the gossip and lashing against her. At the moment I couldn’t find any statement of Steve Tyler which makes me think he doesn’t give a s@&t. If you want a perfect performance, then pre-record the song for every singer that will sing the “The Star-Spangled Banner” and if you also want a perfect performance of the game, then pre-record it and edit all the mistakes made on the field. It is called live and it comes with all the ups and down attached to it. Deal with it!
