Last Saturday I was thrilled to have the most amazing MJ impersonator as well as what I call, “the female version of me”, as my guest to a pot-luck and as movie night we held in our garden. Her name is Devra and I have been following her for a while since I own Party Drag, the agency specialized in drag queens and drag kings. Her biography is impressive, so take some time to read it because this girl has done it all and is not slowing down.

Like me, a trained ballet dancer who later moved into all other techniques in dance and acting, she toured the world and is still going strong. Her Michael Jackson impersonation is flawless and you can book her for any kind of parties. Also she recently wrote her one woman show  “WoMan in The Mirror, A Dancer’s Journey” which had its debut in San Diego at the 10th Avenue Theatre . Stay tuned because who knows, one day you could witness a gender bending collaboration between me and Devra and if it happens prepare yourself to some amazing dancing and magical illusions.
